Request the private Wi-Fi key for your apartment. Your information must match the information on your lease.
Your Private Network
Each apartment has a private network, which requires a WPA2 encryption key. Your devices will prompt you to enter the key the first time you connect.
On your private network you can:
- Share devices like printers
- Talk between devices like Chromecast or AppleTV
- Share files, such as an Xbox Media Server
- Connect without going through a login page
The Farmstead Public Network
The public Farmstead network is available throughout the property. Your private network is visible in and near your apartment, but not elsewhere.
The public network requires devices to go through the welcome page periodically. Devices on the public network cannot use the private-network sharing features.
If a device moves between the public and private networks unexpectedly, forget the public Farmstead network on that device.
